In need of assistance: College Through The Military

Hi, I am a 19 year old white male and I've recently begun thinking about joining the military, mostly for education, and as I can see we have a great deal of active duty servicemen/women as well as some well-distinguished veterans coming through this site on a daily basis, I decided to reach out to them. I just had a few questions regarding enlistment... please bear with me.

I have been doing significant research and crawling the web for any data on the possibility of achieving a higher level of education in the military. My entire high school career was preoccupied with AFJROTC and HOSA, and all of my free time was dedicated to studying the field of Quantum Mechanics. One would think that with such notable accolades it would be no contest as to weather or not I received a full-ride scholarship. I did not. As luck would have it, the only people in that backwater high school that got anywhere were the 2010 class of sycophantic liars. I adamantly refused to associate with that kind of scum. As such, the only chance of NOT having to grovel at my grandparents' feet for a decent education became enlistment. The only problem is, even with a retired AF Colonel and Chief Master Sergeant working with me, I still have no true insight pertaining to the actual educational route within the military. I understand that the AF places you into AF Community College... but how far does that get you? An associates degree in Trajectory Physics followed by 8 years of service in a morbidly narrow job field? I'd rather go into debt... What I'm looking for is advanced Theoretical Physics or Genetics/Molecular Biology degrees, and I'd be willing to do anything to get them. I understand that such self serving, seemingly egotistical thoughts come off as entirely pretentious and possibly rude, and that I "have no right to say such arrogant things, especially at my young age" and "should be glad to accept whatever job placement I am assigned", but the cruel hard truth is that I really don't need the military... I COULD go into hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt and get where I need to be, and still be at the same level of research during and upon completion of the degrees, but without contributing anything towards the government or this great country. With the overwhelming amount of open researching positions available in projects like "Blue Angel" or "SyNAPSE", it becomes apparent that the government NEEDS qualified individuals to work for them. But will they train the people they need to fill those positions? That's my question. I can't accept something as general as "Load Master" or "Flight Systems Engineer", which are incredible careers in their own right, but entirely unacceptable given what I want to do with my life. I am more than willing to dedicate my entire existence to serving the American Government. I simply wish to do it in the field of my choosing, which doesn't appear ostentatious to me at all, I only request the right to do what I choose to with my life... This being said, if you could enlighten me as to which route I should take to at least make PROGRESS towards my goals, I would greatly appreciate it. As I said before, I am entirely at a loss as to which branch to join, and which way to go within that branch. I will be taking University Transferable community college courses until I can get this all worked out. I would greatly appreciate any and ALL feedback. Even if it is degrading criticism, at least it shows that you read the post, and I thank you for doing even that much.
Thank you.
